A lot of delay during lunch and Kankan Sir and I screamed at our interpreter-guide Norbu. Cdr Dam called me and castigated me and also told me that now he has got to know me, he wouldn’t have taken me in the team if he had known me before.

Spoke with Maji and Aunt Alice.There was to be a prayer meeting for my well-being. Strict warning given not to indulge in anymore adventure activity.

Some new tents have come up. The water level in streams have increased. Throat bad, cough even worse. Had lunch enroute. Pande and Bala Sir came to receive us a short way up.

Left for height gain by 1000 hrs - towards the ridge opposite to the camp site. Gained 500 m. back by 1345 hrs. The Austrian couple got back - they had reached 7300 m.
