After breakfast, Cdr Dam said that I was to go up to ABC with the full team – ABC Manager ! Whoa ! Left for a walk cum height gain as per Cdr Dam’s instructions. Walked generally on ice. Back by 1430 hrs.

After tea, Tenzing of Hotel California got one of his customers - a Chinese woman – sick because of altitude. Gave her an Overan injection – my fourth.

Went to the Everest Tea Shop after breakfast. Slept there for a while. Read for a while. During lunch, realized again that cooks were falling short of rations.

Nice gesture by the lady who was with him for hardly 2 hours.Equally nice of the group to have carried it from Lhasa when they happened to meet each other. They brought oranges, fresh lime, biscuits and fried chips.

Went with Kankan Sir, Anand, Pande and Bala Sir to their favourite haunt of a restaurant before lunch. Went there after tea time too.Shifted to another joint when guests arrived.

Saw the big Italian tent fallen down on the glacier. One area was to be crossed carefully because of a landslide. Seb and gang overtook us near the Russian tents.
