Just after breakfast, a French guy – Seb came over to the space section. He has summited twice – once with his father and then with his wife. With his wife, he even paraglided down in 12 minutes from the top to the ABC !

Surprisingly, while rappeling – going out of breath and the right hand going weak. A couple of Sherpas helped in between. Side rapelled most of the way.

Changed into a combi-down-suit and down-booties. Got angry seeing the lethargy of Kanna and Nitin and made water from snow.They also joined in. Meanwhile I thought I had wet my right toe.

The team sans Nitin are to leave for BC for good by 0800 hrs. I was told to go to North Col tomorrow but informed Cdr Dam that I would prefer to only the day after and he agreed.

Was in touch with the team through the Motorola through the climb. Once I played music on the set for a few minutes. Seems the wind was very strong on top. Only Bhanoo reached 7900 m. Others reached various heights of 7200m to 7600 m.
