An English group, which had a 73-year old and another who does acrobatics on vintage aircrafts like Spitfire visited us having seen the stickers at Thingri. India won the 3rd Test !

Discovered that they could be charged by the solar panels but the connector doesn't fit right at the laptop end. Gave up. Got tent arranged for IFA. Gave a motivational talk to Tenzing, the guy who helped us get the gen connection from Apin.

Met an American who has been wandering since Jan 2003 – 6 months in Africa, 6 months in NZ and Australia combined. He has been travelling on his bicycle. He has also cycled his way up from Lhasa to BC !

Managed to put one laptop on charge in the Korean tent using their charger. Took a lot of time to charge. Had Nick ( Greenland) and Joseba (Spain) for tea. I have started feeling more and more that people all around the world are same as regards to feelings – of fear, hope and apprehensions.

One of the guys I spoke to had visited both North Pole and South Pole too. The generator O/P supply has gone kaput. One Korean guy came to help us out. No joy. Read. Went out for a walk.

Woke with the commotion caused by the ‘seeing off’ party of Ms. Niru Nanda, IAS. Joined in. She gave all of us a warm hug. She is my Mom’s age. Called up home - Roney, Mitty to wish Easter. Explained the working of INMARSAT to Kanna and AK Singh.
