Warmed out breakfast at the Italians’ stove. Japanese gave us water. Left IC by 0730 hrs. Italians overtook us enroute.Long dreary walk.
Stopped every hour to rest.Started snowing at around 1200 hrs. Reached ABC by 1315 hrs to find one of the Italians – Ralph not feeling well. Gave him some chocolate and directed them to hurry down. They seemed to be a little selfish and very self-absorbed – feeling a strong dislike towards them.
Had two Aspirins for the headache.
Climbing team at North Col, staying put.
